- Descriptions are limited to 5,000 characters. Only the first 157 or so appear before Show more, and that text is also what search results display.
- Automatic chapters require specific formatting: the first timestamp must be 00:00, there must be at least three, and each chapter must run at least 10 seconds. Miss any of these and no chapters appear.
- Titles are limited to 100 characters, though around 60 is where mobile truncation begins.
- Links in descriptions are clickable but do not pass ranking value, since YouTube applies nofollow.
