Title and description limits are pixels, not characters

Google truncates a title tag at roughly 580 pixels and a description near 920 pixels on desktop, not at a fixed character count. A title in narrow characters can run past 65 characters intact, while one full of capitals and wide letters is cut before 55. This is why a character counter alone will mislead you, and why the preview tools on this page render the text at the width the search result actually uses.

What structured data still earns in 2026

Schema markup is not a ranking factor and never has been — it changes how a result is displayed, not where it sits. That distinction matters more than it used to, because Google retired FAQ rich results for almost all sites in May 2026 and HowTo results before that. Breadcrumb, Product, Recipe, Event and Video markup continue to render. Adding FAQPage markup today is harmless but earns nothing, so it is worth checking what a given type actually produces before investing in it.

Keyword density is a diagnostic, not a target

There is no density figure that improves rankings, and writing toward one reliably makes a page worse. Density is still useful in one direction: as a check that a page mentions its subject at all, and that the phrasing matches how people search rather than internal jargon. Read the number as a symptom of the writing, never as the thing to optimise.

Why these tools run in your browser

Most online tools work by uploading your file to a server, processing it there, and sending the result back. That means a copy of your document exists on a machine you do not control, governed by a retention policy you did not write. Filevane inverts that: the code is downloaded to you, and your file stays put. You can verify this yourself — open your browser's Network tab, run any tool on this page, and watch that no request carries your file.

No accounts, no limits, no watermarks

Because there is no server doing the work, there is no per-task cost to recover — so there is no daily task cap, no queue, no watermark on the output and no upgrade prompt. Batch sizes are limited only by your own device's memory.
