Your privacy is built in. Facebook Text Formatter runs completely on your device, so whatever you enter stays in your browser and is never transmitted, logged or stored on any server.
Network activity: none. Nothing is sent and nothing is fetched. This tool makes no network request at all once the page has loaded — which is why it keeps working if your connection drops.
You do not have to take that on trust — our privacy proof page publishes the Content-Security-Policy that enforces it, lists every third party it permits, and shows how to verify the whole claim yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Can you use bold text on Facebook?
Facebook posts do not support markdown or HTML, so there is no native bold. The workaround is Unicode: the characters are swapped for their mathematical alphanumeric equivalents, which render as bold or italic in almost any app because they are distinct characters rather than formatting.
Will Unicode bold text hurt accessibility?
Yes, and it is worth knowing before using it. Screen readers announce mathematical alphanumeric characters unpredictably — often letter by letter, sometimes as "mathematical bold small a". Never use it for whole posts or for anything essential; keep it to a short heading at most.
Does Facebook search index styled text?
Generally not. Because the characters are different code points, a post written in Unicode bold may not match a search for the ordinary word, and copy-paste into other systems can produce unusable text.
How do I add line breaks to a Facebook post?
Compose the post with the breaks you want and paste it in — typing Enter in the composer sometimes submits instead of adding a newline. Facebook also collapses long runs of blank lines, so extra spacing may not survive.
