How to remove a password from a PDF in your browser

• Decryption happens in your browser, so the password you type is never transmitted. That matters more here than almost anywhere else on the site — you are handling a working credential.
• Once unlocked, the downloaded copy has no password at all. Your original encrypted file is untouched.
• Some PDFs carry permission restrictions (no printing, no copying) without an open password. Those are removed too, on documents you are entitled to use.
