• PDFs can carry arbitrary embedded files, and many readers give no obvious indication that any are present — which is why they are easy to miss and easy to leak.
• Electronic invoicing standards such as ZUGFeRD and Factur-X embed a machine-readable XML invoice inside a human-readable PDF; this is how you get at it.
• Check for attachments before publishing a document externally. An embedded spreadsheet is a real disclosure risk that redacting the visible text does nothing about.
• Treat attachments from unknown documents with the same caution as any other downloaded file.

Network activity: none. Nothing is sent and nothing is fetched. This tool makes no network request at all once the page has loaded — which is why it keeps working if your connection drops.
