Image to PDF: limits and things worth knowing

• Mixed formats can be combined in one document; each image becomes a page in the order shown.
• Photographs of paper produce large PDFs. Compressing the images first, or the PDF afterwards, usually cuts the size dramatically with no visible difference.
• Page size follows the image aspect ratio by default, so a set of photos taken at different orientations produces a document with mixed page sizes.
• The output is images, not text — use Searchable PDF or OCR if the content needs to be findable.
