Is it private and secure?
Your privacy is built in. PDF Converter does all processing on your own device using client-side code, so your files are never transmitted, stored or seen by anyone — including us.
Network activity: none. Nothing is sent and nothing is fetched. This tool makes no network request at all once the page has loaded — which is why it keeps working if your connection drops.
You do not have to take that on trust — our privacy proof page publishes the Content-Security-Policy that enforces it, lists every third party it permits, and shows how to verify the whole claim yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Can I convert images to a single PDF?
Yes. Add multiple images in the order you want them, choose ‘Fit to image’, A4 or Letter page size, and they’re combined into one PDF — one image per page.
How do I turn a PDF into images?
Use ‘PDF → Images’, pick PNG or JPEG and a resolution, and every page is rendered to an image. Download them individually or all together as a ZIP.
Does compressing a PDF keep the text selectable?
No. Compression rasterises each page to a JPEG, so text becomes part of the image. It works best for scanned or image-heavy PDFs where it can dramatically cut file size.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. All PDF processing — including the pdf.js engine and its worker — runs locally in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
