Password Generator: limits and things worth knowing

• Generation uses the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator and happens entirely on your device. This is the whole point: a password generated on a server has, by definition, been known to that server, and you have no way to verify what it did with it.
• Length beats complexity. A 16-character random password is stronger than a 10-character one with every symbol class forced, and far easier to handle.
• Forced composition rules (one upper, one digit, one symbol) measurably reduce entropy by shrinking the search space, which is why current NIST guidance advises against them.
• A passphrase of five or six random words is comparable in strength to a 16-character random string and vastly easier to type on a phone or a TV.
• Reuse is the actual risk. A unique password per site, stored in a password manager, defeats credential stuffing in a way that complexity rules never did.
