No. Media Studio runs FFmpeg directly in your browser via WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device — there's no server to upload to.
Is there a file-size limit?
There's no hard limit, but everything runs on your device's CPU and memory. Very large or long videos process slowly and may run out of memory on low-end devices. For big files, keep the tab focused and be patient.
Why is the first run slow to start?
The FFmpeg engine (~32 MB) downloads and initialises the first time you process something. After that it's cached and starts instantly.
Which formats are supported?
Video: MP4, WEBM, MKV, MOV, AVI and animated GIF. Audio: MP3, AAC, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC. You can also compress, resize, change frame rate, trim, mute and extract thumbnails.
